Lead Data Scientist, Python

At DataBeacon our mission is to revolutionize the aviation industry using a modern technology stack, open source technologies and lean architectures.

Our first product is SimpliFID, an Aerodrome Flight Information Service (AFIS) that covers most functionalities of a radar system at a fraction of the costs. Built in Rust, Python and TypeScript, it sources data from -S and Mode-S Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) systems over Asterix CAT021 Surveillance Data Exchange protocol and delivers it to the user with near zero-latency. Our main focus is on scalability, security and the development and discovery of additional products in the real-time data services for aviation space.
